We have laid out a few warnings across the Website to tell you why it's difficult to find a RESPONSIBLE AND HONEST breeder. Now we are telling you why we believe we are a good choice for you in your next Bouvier des Flandres. Above is a laundrey list of things we have accomplished that take time effort and can't be earned without scrutiny from the AKC and our National Breed Club. We take pride in these accolades.

1 We are also AKC Mentors. We had to apply to gain this right and to mentor others officially.
2 We do health test every dog we intend to use in our program for Hips, elbows, heart, eyes and thyroid
3 We research each pedigree for dogs that have passed on illnesses in the past and guard against line breeding
4 We mentor and are a part of any dog that will be showing
5 We Permanently register each puppy we release and we guard against loss and wrongful transfer of that dog without our knowledge
6 We have rehomed over 20 dogs in the last 46 years we have been part of the Bouvier Community
7 We do not always sell to each person who applies as not everyone is right for the Bouvier breed
8 We are there for the life of your dog
9 You are taught and sent away with a primer in how to raise our puppies
10 We try to make the process a smooth and cohesive from us to you transition so that your experience is beyond any other that you have experienced.
11 We like you have been victims of unscrupulous breeding and do not want you to experience what we had to endure. That makes us work towards being as transparent and honest with you. Thus our motto, "For a dog you can live with and a Breeder you can trust, NO bones about it."

Equally there are breeders who claim on their website (not the AKC website because that entity would shut them down) that they are "Breeders of Merit", without adding AKC in front of this. One of these same breeders says that they are "licensed", when in reality they are NOT. They also claim that they have been breedign since the 1990s when at that poitn they were showing a totally different breed and also breeding Malti poos. Our point is this. We have the proof to back up our claims and we are proud of these accomplishments.

In short if any other breeder makes claims please do your homework and check on the AKC site and anywhere where they claim health testing or anything that makes them sound too good to be true. We have seen and experienced so many of these that we understand now and just hold their feet to the fire when they say or adverstise these claims.
